Allen MacKay
President - Owner


Allen and Russet were involved in wooden boat building in the 1960's, and "honed" their skills in woodworking over a six year period.

Many requests were made wanting miscellaneous cabinets constructed (vanities, kitchens, bookcases etc.) They changed their boat program to cabinet construction and renovations and soon found themselves in a new and interesting business.


Tia Moras

Certified Master Kitchen and Bathroom Designer
Interior Designer


Tia has been in the interior design field since her graduation in 1974. She began working for an architectural firm where she was responsible for their interior design and graphic presentations and focused on commercial design projects.

However, residential interior design soon became her most preferred niche. In 1988, Tia relocated to Vancouver where she began to specialize in kitchen and bath design and in 1995 earned her certification by the National Kitchen and Bath Association as a Certified Kitchen Designer. She is currently an active NKBA member and member of the executive board of the local NKBA chapter. In the year 2000 Tia also attained the certification of Certified bathroom Designer. As well in 2005 earned the highest certification of CMKBD.

In February 2010, Tia Moras, CMKBD, and Irena Merki, MA, received two National Kitchen and Bath Association 2010 Design Awards. This national design competition featured entries from across Canada by top kitchen and bath professionals. Tia and Irena placed 1st for their entry in the Power Room category. They also received the “Pinnacle of Design” Award, which is the top honour for design excellence among all of the 2010 competition winners.

Nicholas Grigg B.A.
Designer, Project Manager
General Manager

Nicholas has worked in the residential construction and design field for over 25 years. In London, England, he attended design courses at the Royal School of Art and managed renovation projects for well known clients in the film and music business.


Since relocating to Vancouver in 1990, he has worked on a "Georgie" award winning project and enjoys working on a "one-to-one" basis with clients to achieve an individual design and successful renovation.

Irena Merki
MA
Masters in Architecture
Interior Designer

Irena earned her Masters Degree in Architecture in 1986 in Budapest, Hungary. She worked as an architect and urban planner in Croatia prior to coming to Canada. In 1996 she relocated to British Columbia and worked on high-end residential projects. Irena has now specialized her talent in architectural interiors and millwork. Her flair for design and European craftsmanship have earned her a loyal clientele from Vancouver to San Francisco.

In February 2010, Irena Merki, MA, and Tia Moras, CMKBD, received two National Kitchen and Bath Association 2010 Design Awards. This national design competition featured entries from across Canada by top kitchen and bath professionals. Irena and Tia placed 1st for their entry in the Power Room category. Veronica Radecka
Kitchen and Bathroom Designer, Project Manager

Veronica has been involved with the Kitchen and Bath Industry for over 15 years as a designer, estimate analyst, showroom manager, and owner of a renovation firm. With her broad understanding of the business, she welcomes special needs projects (i.e. kosher, barrier free, libraries). Her work has been featured numerous times in design periodicals and Home & Garden Television.

Veronica was educated in Europe and architecturally trained in Toronto, where her career started. She is fluent in English and Polish. She can also communicate in Greek, German and Russian.
